November 11th – Remembrance Day

Remember our veterans and soldiers this November 11th.

Our veterans and soldiers are to be commended for their valor and courage. Thank you for protecting us and making our lives safe. To show your appreciation to our veterans and soldiers, take part in a Remembrance Day service.

There are services in several locations around the city of Vancouver – these are a few locations…

Victory Square (West Hastings and Cambie) This is one of Vancouver’s largest gatherings held in the morning, November 11  (approx 10am-11:30am) followed with a march along Hastings street.  The Vancouver Remembrance Day Committee organizes this event.

Memorial South Park has a parade  and ceremony organized by the South Vancouver Veteran’s Council.

The Japanese Canadian War Memorial Society sponsors a gathering at the Japanese Monument at Stanley Park (Stanley Park Pavilion)  Gathering approximate 10:40am.

CTV broadcasts in the morning of November 11th covering the gatherings, ceremonies and Parades.

Divine Vines is featuring red and white bouquets for tributes to the fallen.
